Impact of COVID on the Event

As per the guidelines provided by Sport New Zealand, the event restrictions are outlined in the table below. Vaccine passes will be required to participate in the event, if not it severely restricts the numbers. Proof of the vaccine pass will be required on collection of race packs on Saturday the 5th.

These guidelines are current as of December 2021, as per the New Zealand traffic light system. The guidelines are subject to change and will be updated on our website as the changes occur.

In the likelihood that the event occurs when the country has moved into the RED traffic light system, entries with a vaccine pass proof with be on a first in basis, up to our holding capacity of 100 entrants. At ORANGE AND GREEN, we expect to be able to operate with little restrictions other than a vaccine pass. 

We understand that this may differ from some people’s personal views, but in order to successfully run the event we need to comply with Government requirements and to ensure everyone’s safety.
